Unaccredited Trainee - Urology

Lismore Base Hospital is seeking an Unaccredited Trainee in Urology for the remainder of the 2026 clinical year (to 31 January 2027).

The successful applicant will gain valuable experience in our hospitals in the beautiful Northern NSW LHD / Richmond Network, working under the guidance of highly experienced specialist surgeons and registrars on placement to Lismore on the SET Program. 

LBH supports the education and career progression of its Junior Medical Officers by:

• Education: Formal JMO teaching in Lismore includes weekly surgical teaching, monthly Grand Rounds (Whole Hospital), and Friday’s surgical education sessions and M&M meetings. We also work closely with the University Centre for Rural Health (UCRH) who offer valuable teaching and simulations for medical officers in training. 
• Career Progression: Following your unaccredited training year, trainees accepted onto The SET Program are able to complete placements at Lismore Base Hospital for periods ranging from 6 to 24 months.
