NCHC 2026
The National Continence Health Conference (formerly National Conference on Incontinence) is Australia’s premier multidisciplinary meeting for health professionals working in bladder, bowel and pelvic health. The conference brings together some of the sector’s most influential decision-makers to showcase the latest in incontinence research and practice, presented in a broad range of sessions and workshops.
As part of the Conference, there will be a series of workshops on Wednesday 13 May. Of particular note for USANZ Members is the Continence Health Australia (CHA) research consortium launch which runs from 1.00pm - 4.30pm on the Wednesday afternoon.
There is no additional fee for this session. This workshop is for any clinician or consumer actively conducting research, or interested in participating in research. It will involve presentations about the research journey from Prof. Linda Brubaker, Prof. Kate Moore and Prof. Helena Frawley. This will be followed by talks on the needs of continence researchers (led by A/Prof Wendy Bower, CHA Director of Research); what decision-makers need from researchers (by Renee Shepherd, CHA Director of Policy); and consumer engagement in continence studies (led by CHA Consumer Advisory members), leading to an open discussion about what a national research agenda might look like.
