Specialty or sub-specialty Fellowship training

Specialist International Medical Graduates (SIMGs) seeking fellowship positions in Australia or New Zealand should consult the current positions vacant.  Additionally, they may find other opportunities advertised in medical journals or other media outlets. Negotiations for fellowship positions are solely between the applicant and the hospital; USANZ does not provide assistance in this process
 

Recognition of formal postgraduate specialist qualifications

For recognition of formal postgraduate specialist qualifications, SIMGs should contact the Australian Medical Council or the Medical Council of New Zealand. These organisations handle the assessment of international specialist qualifications, a service not provided by USANZ. Therefore, USANZ cannot offer advice on these matters.
