Curriculum

The Curriculum encompasses the core knowledge, skills and attributes of a graduating urologist. The Curriculum is divided into the three Sections, as outlined below.

Section One Foundation Knowledge and Skills Articulates the expected knowledge of trainees in the early years of training and in preparation for the Surgical Sciences Examination.
Section Two Clinical Urology Basic Training equates approximately to the first two years of training, Intermediate is aligned with the next two-three years and Advanced training competencies are expected to be achieved in the final year of training.
Section Three Fundamentals of Urologic Care Reflects the RACS competencies and includes ‘non-technical skills’ important to the provision of high quality care.
