The Curriculum encompasses the core knowledge, skills and attributes of a graduating urologist. The Curriculum is divided into the three Sections, as outlined below.
|Section One||Foundation Knowledge and Skills||Articulates the expected knowledge of trainees in the early years of training and in preparation for the Surgical Sciences Examination.|
|Section Two||Clinical Urology||Basic Training equates approximately to the first two years of training, Intermediate is aligned with the next two-three years and Advanced training competencies are expected to be achieved in the final year of training.|
|Section Three||Fundamentals of Urologic Care||Reflects the RACS competencies and includes ‘non-technical skills’ important to the provision of high quality care.|
