Curriculum
The Curriculum encompasses the core knowledge, skills and attributes of a graduating urologist. The Curriculum is divided into the three Sections, as outlined below.
Section One | Foundation Knowledge and Skills | Articulates the expected knowledge of trainees in the early years of training and in preparation for the Surgical Sciences Examination. |
Section Two | Clinical Urology | Basic Training equates approximately to the first two years of training, Intermediate is aligned with the next two-three years and Advanced training competencies are expected to be achieved in the final year of training. |
Section Three | Fundamentals of Urologic Care | Reflects the RACS competencies and includes ‘non-technical skills’ important to the provision of high quality care. |
