Webinar - Genomic Testing in GU Cancers

The Australia and New Zealand Urological Nurses Society (ANZUNS) is hosting a webinar for health professionals on generic and genomic testing in GU Cancers. The webinar, titled "From Genes to Care", will be held on 23 June at 6.30pm - 8.00pm AEST.

This webinar will provide health professionals with a practical overview of genetic and genomic testing in genitourinary (GU) cancers. Participants will gain an understanding of key concepts such as germline and somatic testing, biomarkers, and the role of precision oncology in guiding treatment decisions. The session will also explore the nurse's role in patient education, counselling support, and navigating testing pathways in contemporary GU cancer care.

The speakers at Dr Ainsley Campbell (Director of Clinical Genetics at the Austin Hospital) and A/Prof Heather Thorne (National Manager of kConFab).
