2022 ANZUP Prostate Cancer Rapid Fire Program

The ANZUP Cancer Trials Group is seeking applicants to attend its 2022 Prostate Cancer Rapid Fire Program.

The 1.5-day workshop will take place on 18-19 November at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Sydney, and will cover landmark clinical trials in prostate cancer.

Our target participants are trainees and junior consultants (first 5 years of practice) in medical, radiation, nuclear medicine, and surgical oncology.

Successful applicants will be supported to attend this exciting initiative - places are limited.

Topic areas covered include:

  • screening and diagnosis (screening, MRI, PSMA, biopsy approaches);
  • localised disease;
  • locally advanced disease (including adjuvant, multimodal treatments);
  • metastatic hormone sensitive disease (including biochemical relapse, oligomets);
  • metastatic castrate resistant disease (including theranostics); and
  • supportive care.

Involvement in this program will require a significant commitment. Participants will be expected to prepare three presentations, each containing several papers. Participants will be expected to be familiar with all papers that will be covered and the presentations by your colleagues, prior to attending. This is expected to involve 6-8 hours of preparation prior to attending.
