Australasian Pelvic Floor Procedure Registry Report 2022

The Australasian Pelvic Floor Procedure Registry (APFPR) was established in 2019 following a recommendation from the Senate Inquiry into Transvaginal Mesh. The Registry aims to prospectively monitor the performance and safety of devices associated with pelvic floor procedures.

In December 2022, the APFPR released its 2022 Public Report.

The report highlights:

  • What to expect from a Clinical Quality Registry in the establishment phase
  • Trends in clinical practice for pelvic floor procedures; a comparison of what is captured by international registries in the same clinical domain
  • A summary of the data we collect
  • Our first publicly available clinical data

The APFPR will release an annual report later in 2023.
