A Current Affair recently reported on the increasing length of blockbuster movies and the call for an intermission to be reintroduced during cinema screenings. USANZ Member Dr Sandra Elmer provided a Urologist's perspective on the topic, weighing in on the debate in support of an interval.

Urological Team Visit Kiribati

Associate Professor Devang Desai and his team of expert medical specialists recently travelled to Kiribati to deliver treatment and perform complex urological surgeries. This visit was supported by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, the Australian Government and the Kiribati Ministry of Health and Medical Services. 

Devang is the first Urologist to visit the island, providing support for patients who have waited many years for treatment. USANZ would like to acknowledge Devang's work and congratulate him and his team on such a successful trip.
