NCOI & FUS Conference 2023 Wrap-up

Together with the Continence Foundation of Australia (CFA), USANZ recently hosted the joint 31st National Conference on Incontinence and 4th Functional Urology Symposium in Adelaide.

This was the first time that USANZ partnered with CFA to produce a joint conference, and we relished the opportunity to work with their team. The meeting was a success and we look forward to strengthening our partnership and collaborating on future projects.

USANZ Members played an integral role in developing the scientific program, as three of our Members were Scientific Co-Chairs. We want to thank Ashani Couchman, Vincent Tse, Eric Chung and Julie Westaway for their hard work and dedication as they developed such an enriching and engaging program.

More than 500 Delegates convened in Adelaide for the joint NCOI & FUS Conference 2023. There were 15 sessions over the span of 4 days, as well as 8 workshops and a total of 40 presenters. A number of our Members presented at or chaired sessions throughout the conference, and we appreciate all for their contribution to the success of the event.

USANZ would like to acknowledge the 8 sponsors of the NCOI & FUS Conference 2023 and thank them for their support. Connecting with industry is always a valuable part of the conference experience, and Delegates have said they enjoyed the opportunity to interact with the 46 Exhibitors in the Exhibition Hall.

We received excellent feedback during and after the event, with several Delegates commenting on the benefits of the multidisciplinary approach to the program. Delegates were drawn from across the continence and functional urology community, including doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, pharmacists, mental health workers, and other allied other professionals. Additionally, several Delegates mentioned the highlights to be the opportunity to meet with experts in the field and network with colleagues locally and interstate.
