Services Australia: Update on Digital Channel Upgrades January 2022

Over the last 12 months, Services Australia has been updating its digital health and aged care channels in the Adaptors to Web Services (A2WS) Project.

To ensure software developers and peak bodies are kept informed about the project, Services Australia has introduced the A2WS Update which will be issued monthly until the end of the project.

Access the A2WS Update for January 2022, which was sent to software developers on 31 January. This issue covers:

  • Medicare and PBS PKI site certificate renewals
  • Aged Care web services reminders
  • NASH PKI certificates expiring in March 2022
  • Log4j vulnerability
  • PBS Online common issues and more.

USANZ Members are reminded that failure to comply before the March 2022 deadline may result in manual claim processing, creating additional administrative pressure and costs for their business.

Services Australia has recently updated its Web Services eKit which contains factsheets with important information about what you need to do to prepare for web services.
Download the eKit on the Services Australia Website.
