Short Report on Menopause and Perimenopause

There is an ongoing Senate inquiry into issues related to menopause and perimenopause.

USANZ has made an official response to this Inquiry, emphasising the need for a holistic approach to understanding and managing menopause-related genitourinary and sexual health concerns. The submission is available for download here.

This short report was prepared by Dr Sandra Elmer, the Deputy Chair of the Female Urology Special Advisory Group (FUSAG), with the support of the broader FUSAG as well as USANZ President, Prof Helen O'Connell.

USANZ thanks Dr Elmer for her work representing the Society at this level.

USANZ will provide an update on the outcomes of the Inquiry when the final report is published later this year.
