Survey: Incidental Appendectomy During Radical Cystectomy

Matthew Stanowski and Kenneth Chew from South Western Sydney Local Health District have invited USANZ Members to participate in a survey.

The purpose of the survey is to gain insights into specific practices pertaining to radical cystectomy. In particular, in regard to the practice of incidental appendectomy during radical cystectomy.

The survey comprises five questions:

1. Name (optional)
2. In which state do you practice?
3. How many years post-fellowship are you?
4. How many radical cystectomies have you performed in the past 2 years?
5. Do you perform incidental appendicectomy during radical cystectomies?

Participation in this survey is voluntary and should take roughly 2 minutes to complete online. All responses will be kept confidential and will be used solely for the improvement of urological practices within our community. Matthew and Kenneth have noted that ethics approval is not required for this survey.

The deadline for participation is 24 September 2023.
