Survey: Peri-operative Management of Post-prostatectomy Urinary Incontinence (PPI)

The Society invites Members to participate in a 15-minute survey aiming to provide insight into the peri-operative practices and considerations (pre-operative preparation, intra-operative technique and post-operative management) of Urologists in Australia and New Zealand in managing PPI.

Currently, there are a variety of practices and considerations that are utilised by urologists in the management of post-prostatectomy urinary incontinence (PPI) such as physiotherapy, pharmacotherapy and surgical therapy but the literature is unclear as to how frequently each intervention is practiced.

Anonymous data will be collected via REDCap software through the University of Sydney with the intention to present and publish the findings. This information will also be useful in the future design of education programs and research studies. Ethics approval hs been provided by the University of Sydney. Participation in the study is voluntary.
