Farewell Lex Cowley - 2023

It is with great sadness that the Society reports the recent death of Lex Cowley, a longstanding industry representative and friend of the urological community.

Lex was well known to many USANZ Members and staff for his work with different pharmaceutical companies over the years. His most recent role was Senior Account Manager - Oncology at Jannsen, and he previously worked at Cook Medical, AstraZeneca and Pharmacia.

Having returned to urology after a period of working in other areas, Lex attended the recent USANZ ASM in Melbourne. Our CEO Michael Nugara was thankful to have the chance to catch up with Lex at the Meeting. We mourn Lex's passing and extend our sympathies to his family, friends and colleagues.

Lex's funeral was held on Monday, 3 April 2023 at Mount Gravatt Cemetery and Crematorium, Nathan, Queensland.
