From the USANZ Operations Room
Welcome to the last UroNews of 2021 – and what a year it has been!
As we approach the end of the year, we are once more, facing a new year with uncertainty in an environment of increasing infections and anxiety.
USANZ has recently implemented its updated COVID-19 Return to Work Plan, with around half of the team back in the office. The remaining team members are continuing to work from home for the time being. I’d like to thank the team from the Ops Room for continuing to demonstrate their resilience in difficult times, and, continuing to deliver great outcomes for the Society and our Members.
On behalf of the team, I’d like to wish our Members and the many other friends of USANZ, a happy, healthy, and safe festive season and we look forward to a more prosperous 2022.
And while 2021 has certainly been a challenging year for us all, there were a few moments that stood out and provided both some relief from, and perspective on, life. We had one of those moments here in the Ops Room when, Nicola, daughter of Nick Danes USANZ Chief Operating Officer gave birth in October, to his first grandchild, the beautiful Olivia (pictured above). Nick, from all of us at the Society we say Congratulations Papou!
