Congratulations Marlon Perera, Fulbright Scholarship Recipient
The Society is very proud to announce Marlon Perera as the recipient of a prestigious Fulbright Scholarship.
The Fulbright Program is the flagship foreign exchange scholarship program of the United States of America, aimed at increasing binational research collaboration, cultural understanding, and the exchange of ideas. Fulbright Postgraduate Scholarships allow postgraduate students undertaking their Australian PhD to conduct research in the United States; or, support postgraduate students not currently enrolled in a degree program to undertake a U.S. postgraduate program such as a Master’s. As a Fulbright scholar, Marlon will spend his time at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York to progress continuing research in imaging in prostate cancer.
