Nominations open on Tuesday 1 March 2022 for the RACS SET Supervisor / SIMG Supervisor of the Year Award and Academy of Surgical Educators (ASE) Research Scholarship.

SET Supervisor/SIMG Supervisor of the Year award

The SET Supervisor / SIMG Supervisor of the Year award was created to acknowledge and reward RACS SET/SIMG Supervisors for their contributions.

Nominations open on Tuesday 1 March 2022 and close on Friday 15 April 2022.

Nominations can only be submitted via the nomination portal. To nominate you will be required to provide other information such as supporting reason for the nomination, name and contact details of seconder.

ASE Research Scholarship (2023 round)

The ASE Research Scholarship has been established to encourage surgeons to conduct research into the efficacy of existing surgical education or innovation of new surgical education practices and is worth $10,000. This is an excellent opportunity for RACS members to pursue their interest in surgical education research.
