Behind the Scenes at UAA2022
USANZ recently had the opportunity to host the 19th Annual Urological Association of Asia Congress in Sydney. After postponing due to COVID-19 restrictions in 2021, it was exciting to finally meet in person and there was certainly a lively atmosphere throughout the event.
A lot of work happens behind the scenes to ensure an event of this scale runs smoothly. I am proud of, and grateful to, the USANZ team for their hard work and tireless efforts.
Thank you especially to the UAA Congress Manager, Kirsten Isaacs, whose leadership ensured this event was a success, with the help USANZ Conference Manager Anna Tartakovskaia, Communications Manager Jonathon Street, and Communications Coordinator Samantha Roberts. Thank you also to DC Conference Association and Specialists, the organising and scientific committee, and USANZ staff who assisted throughout the process.

The 20th UAA Congress will be held in Dubai in 2023 – stay tuned for more information.
