Survey: The Surgeon as Human

In anticipation of the session entitled 'The Surgeon as Human' to be presented as part of the program for the 2022 USANZ Trainee Week, USANZ Members are invited to take part in the Survey: The Surgeon as Human.

The session will be chaired by Dr Jeremy Grummet, assisted by Executive Coach, Jackie Knight. The session will feature presentations from Prof Craig Hassed OAM, mindfulness expert and Director of Education at the Monash Centre for Consciousness and Contemplative Studies; and Sharee Johnson, psychologist, executive coach, and author of The Thriving Doctor.

Delegates for the 2022 USANZ Trainee Week have already been invited to complete the survey. Additional responses are now being sought from the wider USANZ Membership in order to compare and contrast the experiences of each Member cohort.

Participation in the survey is entirely voluntary, and all responses are completely anonymous. The survey and the anonymous responses will be stored by USANZ for up to 5 years and may be published or used by the Board of Urology to make decisions about training in the future.
