Consultant Urologist

Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand is seeking a Consultant Urologist to join the dedicated team at Nelson Hospital. The Urologist should have strong endourology capability and proven expertise in Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (HoLEP).

This is a permanent, part time role (0.95FTE, 76 hours a fortnight and on-call).

Key responsibilities include:

• providing elective and acute urology services across the district
• collaborating with surgical, oncology, and renal teams
• participating in an on-call roster and multidisciplinary meetings
• supporting junior medical staff and contributing to teaching and training
• engaging in continuous quality improvement and innovation.
