Staff Specialist - Urologist

The Royal Hobart Hospital and Department of Urology is seeking interest from suitably qualified applicants for role of Specialist Urologist.

This is a full-time permanent position, working 76 hours per fortnight, comprising day work with on-call. The commencement date is negotiable by arrangement. A total value package of up to $598,963 will be offered depending on the level of experience.

The successful candidate will also need to demonstrate: 

• A successful track record of clinical service provision as a Urologist. 
• The ability to manage patients within the discipline of Urology and the ability to work with a multidisciplinary team.
• Proven capacity for undergraduate and post-graduate teaching and the ability to undertake research activities.
• The ability to communicate effectively and maintain good interpersonal relationships in dealing with patients, their relatives, and professional colleagues.
