Prostate Cancer Outcomes Registry Australia and New Zealand
Prostate Cancer Outcomes Registry Australia and New Zealand (PCOR-ANZ) collects information on the treatment, care and outcomes for people diagnosed with prostate cancer in Australia and New Zealand.
PCOR-ANZ collaborates directly with clinicians, researchers and people diagnosed with the disease in order to gain a comprehensive understanding of the way prostate cancer is currently being managed. By collecting data on diagnosis, care and the experiences of patients post-treatment, PCOR-ANZ strives to improve the wellbeing of people diagnosed with prostate cancer.
PCOR-ANZ aims to positively impact the health outcomes of people diagnosed with prostate cancer, by:
- Reducing variations in treatment and outcomes by establishing benchmarks
- Providing information about the risks and benefits of different treatment options for patients
- Supporting research to advance treatment options
