RACS Position Statement on Reusable Surgical Gowns

In November 2023 RACS released a position statement regarding reusable surgical gowns. USANZ endorsed this statement in July 2024.

The introduction states, in part, that: "The position of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) is that surgeons and hospitals should employ the principles of effective waste management and sustainability in order to reduce the impact of surgery on the environment."
