Review of Urogynaecological Mesh Devices on Prostheses List

The Department of Health and Aged Care has conducted a post-listing review of Urogynaecological mesh devices (mid-urethral slings) currently listed on the Prostheses List.

An external reviewer, hereco, was engaged to undertake a health technology assessment (HTA) focused on the issues being addressed by the post-listing review.

USANZ has been invited to participate in this post-listing review and provide comments on the draft report.

The key purpose of this review is to identify and draw attention to any quality, accuracy or scope issues in the report.

The final report will be released later in the year.
