USANZ Trainee, Elena Galiabovitch, is off to her third Olympics!

Earlier this week, it was announced that Elena had been selected as part of the Australian Olympic Team to compete in pistol shooting at the Paris Games. Elena previously represented Australia at the Tokyo 2020 Games, where she was a flag bearer in the Opening Ceremony, as well as Rio 2016. Elena is coached by her father Vladimir who is Australia’s national pistol coach.

USANZ congratulates Elena on this achievement and looks forward to watching her in Paris.

Eva Fong

Following our coverage last week of World Continence Week, Dr Eva Fong's contribution to the Continence Foundation of Australia's 2024 campaign has now been published.

Eva is the Leader of the USANZ Functional Urology Specialty Advisory Group. She encouraged health professionals to "start the conversation", giving patients the opportunity to speak about their incontinence rather than stay silent.
