RACS Scholarships and Grants Program 2025

The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons Scholarships and Grants Program for 2025 opens on 25 March 2024.

RACS, through the Foundation for Surgery, continues to be an international leader in funding scholarships and grants for the surgical community. The 2025 program will contribute to the development of research, surgical practise and leadership in our local and global surgical communities. For more information, see the RACS website.

• Research Scholarships offer recipients the opportunity to pursue a major research project over a period ranging from one to three years. Specific projects and their respective funding levels are outlined on the website.
• Learning and Development Grants offer recipients the opportunity to pursue professional development, training or small research activities in Australia, Aotearoa New Zealand or overseas. There are specific programs open to RACS Fellows, Younger Fellows, SET Trainees, SIMGs, Junior Doctors and Medical Students.
