SIU & USANZ Joint Symposium Speakers at SIU 2025 in Edinburgh

Earlier this month, USANZ called for Expressions of Interest for Members to participate in the Société Internationale d'Urologie (SIU) & USANZ joint symposium at the SIU Congress 2025.

The Board of Directors warmly congratulates Dr Sandra Elmer, Dr Joseph Ischia, and Dr Ashani Couchman on being selected to represent our society at this event.

The SIU Congress will be held in Edinburgh from 29 October to 1 November 2025. The SIU & USANZ joint symposium will be held on Wednesday, 29 October from 10-11.30am and will be convened by USANZ Member Prof Henry Woo.

We wish Sandra, Joseph and Ashani all the best for their travels and look forward to hearing about your participation in this event.
 

UAA Lecturer at SIU 2025

The Urological Association of Asia (UAA) recently invited member associations to nominate a candidate to deliver the UAA Lecture at the SIU Congress 2025.

USANZ called for Expressions of Interest in February and the Board of Directors has selected Dr Richard Cetti as the USANZ nominee. 

We have endorsed Richard for consideration by the SIU Scientific Committee and eagerly await their decision. 

Congratulations on being selected as the USANZ nominee, Richard! We hope to see you representing our Society and the UAA at SIU 2025.
 

AUA Research Forum: Early Career Investigator Showcase

The American Urological Association (AUA) will host their annual Research Forum: Early-Career Investigators Showcase at AUA 2025 on 26 April in Las Vegas.

After calling for Expressions of Interest earlier this month, the USANZ Board of Directors is pleased to announce Dr Ned Kinnear as the successful USANZ nominee.

This research forum showcases early career investigators whose research is poised to make an impact in urology. As the successful USANZ nominee, Ned will now submit an application to the AUA to be accepted for this showcase.
