Concord Urodynamics and Pelvic Floor Ultrasound Course
The Department of Urology and Concord Institute of Academic Surgery hosted the Concord Urodynamics and Pelvic Floor Ultrasound Course on 26-27 July 2025.
Thank you to USANZ Member and Concord Faculty Member Lewis Chan, who sent through the following report about the Course and photographs.
We were fortunate to have multidisciplinary faculty of urologists, gynaecologists and nurse practitioners from around Sydney.
The Course was recognized by ICS, USANZ and RANZCOG with a 2 day program comprising multiple round table discussions and hands- on stations. 40 medical and nursing practitioners attended from around Australia and internationally.
Everyone enjoyed the opportunity of interdisciplinary discussion between attending urologists, gynaecologists, geriatricians and trainees. Due to strong interest the Course will be an annual event to provide ongoing education and improve standards of Urodynamic testing in Australia and Asia-Pacific.

Award-Winning Film about Prostate Cancer
USANZ Member Samantha Pillay's "Just Say PSA" film has won the Men's Issues category of the Round the Globe Film and Music Festival (Winter Season 2024).
The film was produced by Samantha in collaboration with other USANZ Members Jeremy Grummet and Elayne Ooi.
"Just Say PSA" is a short film designed to counter myths about prostate cancer testing and encourage men to take proactive steps for their health, including to undertake PSA testing. The film was generated using AI to tell fictional patient stories that mirror real-life experiences while maintaining confidentiality.
