Trainee Week 2025 - Reports from International Delegates - Part 2

In November 2025, USANZ hosted ten international delegates as part of Trainee Week in Sydney. This is an invaluable opportunity for urological Trainees to engage in cross-cultural information exchange and networking.

We have now received a report from one of the BAUS Section of Trainees (BSoT) delegates as well as a report by the four delegates from the Urological Association of Asia (UAA). The delegates share the valuable insights they gained from observing the mock examinations as well as the lively 'Masters of the Uroverse' trivia competition, and reflect on the differences they observed between the local healthcare system and training program compared to their own experiences.

The delegates also express gratitude for the warm hospitality they received from USANZ staff, the trainees, and their fellow international delegates. As Dr Thanakrit Visuthikosol from Thailand states, "These interactions strengthened my connection to the global urology community and added meaningful depth to the program." Dr Yasmina Zahra Syadza from Indonesia agreed that "These connections fostered a sense of belonging to a global urology community and opened avenues for future academic collaboration, mentorship, and potential exchange opportunities."
