Survey: CAMUS Delphi Study - A Consensus on Reporting of Complications After Urological Surgeries
The CAMUS Collaboration (Complication Reporting After Major Urological Surgery) has launched the CAMUS Delphi Study: A Consensus on Reporting of Complications After Urological Surgeries.
The 12-part CAMUS Delphi Study will aim to reach consensus on a wide range of contentious issues in Urological surgery using the framework of the established Clavien-Dindo Classification (CDC), whilst introducing the new CAMUS Classification. Participants will help to create a universal, homogenous language for reporting complications, which will give us unprecedented consensus around existing ambiguities and pitfalls in urological complication reporting. Upon completion of all questions in all rounds, you will automatically receive PubMed-listed collaborative authorship on all Delphi-related publications.
The Survey is now available on REDCap and takes approximately 2 hours to complete. While acknowledging the commitment required to complete such a survey, the comprehensive survey is required to achieve a new standardised reporting system. Round 2, and further subsequent rounds, will be significantly shorter, including only refined questions that have not reached consensus in previous rounds.
The CAMUS Delphi Study is open to all consultant urologists and accredited urology trainees, consultant anaesthetists, and consultant intensive care physicians. Participants are encouraged to promote the survey to other urologists, anaesthetists and ICU physicians in their departments or practices. While participation in the survey is voluntary, USANZ encourages all Members to take part.
