PSMA PET/CT Imaging for Informing Treatment of Patients with Prostate Cancer

At their meeting in July, the Medical Services Advisory Committee (MSAC) supported the creation of a new MBS item for PSMA PET.

USANZ provided content that was included in the RACS submission in support of the application made to the MSAC. The Society would like to acknowledge the efforts of many Members who have worked behind the scenes, especially Prof Mark Frydenberg, Prof Declan Murphy, Prof Henry Woo and nuclear medicine physician, Prof Michael Hofman, in this significant development.
