Boston Scientific Fellowship

Congratulations to Dr Marnique Basto who has been awarded the Boston Scientific Travelling Fellowship for 2025, which supports her attendance at the American Urological Association's (AUA) Annual Meeting in April.

The USANZ Board of Directors selected Marnique from a highly competitive pool of applicants following a recent EOI process.

This education grant includes airfares to Las Vegas to attend the AUA 2025, as well as registration and accommodation costs. While there, Marnique will visit leading urological surgeons to review live surgery at 3 separate sites.

Marnique will present about the Fellowship at the 2025 USANZ New South Wales Section Meeting.

Congratulations Marnique! We can't wait to hear about your experiences.

 

UROCON Representative

The USANZ Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Dr Wikus Vermeulen was the successful applicant for the recent UROCON EOI. Congratulations!

Wikus will represent USANZ at UROCON 2025, which is being held from 4-5 April in Kathmandu, Nepal. The conference is being hosted by the Nepal Association of Urological Surgeons (NAUS), with the SAARC Association of Urological Surgeons (SAUS).

We look forward to hearing about Wikus' travel when he returns.
