BAUS, BJUI & USANZ Joint Program Presenter at AUA 2026

Following a call for Expressions of Interest in December 2025, the USANZ Board of Directors has selected a Joint Program Presenter for the BAUS, BJUI and USANZ Session at the American Urological Association (AUA) 2026 Annual Meeting in Washington. Congratulations, Dr Sandra Elmer! 

Sandra will represent USANZ as part of the joint session, Urinary Tract Infection Management: Answering the Burning Questions. Drawing on professional experience in her private urology practice, Sandra's presentation will explore Early Experience with Uromune: Real-World Outcomes of Sublingual Immunotherapy for Recurrent UTIs After Failure of Standard Prophylaxis. This presentation will focus on the evolving role of sublingual bacterial vaccination in the management of recurrent urinary tract infections (rUTIs), with emphasis on real-world clinical outcomes, patient selection, safety, and positioning vaccines within contemporary antibiotic-sparing strategies.
