Survey: Understanding surgical doctors knowledge on caring for transgender patients

Researchers working in Victoria are conducting a survey to seek understanding of surgical doctors knowledge on caring for transgender patients. USANZ Members are invited to participate in this survey.

This survey has ethics approval through Austin Health.

There is currently no information Australia-wide about how doctors are trained to look after transgender patients. The researchers hope that conducting this study will provide insight to how doctors are trained to care for this important group of patients.

There are two separate survey links.

If you are a medical student, intern, resident or registrar, access the survey here.

If you are a consultant surgeonaccess the survey here.
