SLAUS Representative

USANZ recently called for Expressions of Interest for Members to attend the SLAUS Annual Academic Sessions. The Board of Directors has announced that the successful candidate was Dr Rohan Hall. Congratulations Rohan!

Rohan will attend the Academic Sessions in Colombo from 14-15 November. He will present a plenary session, provisionally entitled: "Proliferation of surgical technologies and its impact on fellowship training for developing countries – now and the future". SLAUS will cover his registration fees, accommodation costs, and airport transfers.

We look forward to hearing about Rohan's experiences when he returns!
 

USANZ at Urofair and FTS 2024

Our Society was again strongly represented at an international urological convention, this time in Singapore. Urofair 2024 was held in Singapore last week in conjunction with the 14th International Symposium on Focal Therapy and Imaging in Prostate and Kidney Cancer. These events were jointly hosted by the Singapore Urological Association and Focal Therapy Society.

USANZ Members Drs Celi Varol and Phil Stricker both presented several sessions at this symposium. Celi presented on Laser Therapy and Phil Stricker presented on Irreversible Electroporation.
