Women in Surgery Symposium 2025

The Women in Surgery Symposium 2025 will be held this Sunday, 2 August 2025 at UNSW.

This student-focused program includes keynotes from 8 established female surgeons as well as 3 hands-on workshops.

USANZ Members Drs Ashani Couchman and Anita Clarke will provide keynotes and deliver a workshop on Urology & Catheterisation. Ashani is the USANZ Vice President and Chair of the Society's Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee. Anita is the Leader of the USANZ Surgical Women in Australia and New Zealand Urology (SWANZU) committee.

This event is run by the UNSW Medical Society, in collaboration with Western Sydney University and University of Sydney Surgical Societies.
