Survey: PCOR ANZ Quality Indicator Review Project
The Prostate Cancer Outcome Registry - Australia and New Zealand (PCOR-ANZ) has been conducting interviews for their quality improvement project over the past couple of months. To complement these interviews, the project team has designed a short 5-10 minute survey to understand what is important to urologists. USANZ Members are invited to participate.
About the PCOR-ANZ QI Survey
The survey is open to all urologists and/or radiation oncologists who engage with prostate cancer patients (including consultant, registrar and fellows).
Why PCOR-ANZ are Reviewing the Quality Indicators and Reports
PCOR-ANZ provides benchmarking reports comparing institutions and clinicians using standardised, evidence-based indicators. While these have served well, most remain unchanged for over a decade. This review, guided by clinician input, aims to modernise the indicators and enhance their usefulness for practice and quality improvement.
How Your Input Will Shape the Project:
Your expertise will directly influence how QI indicators and reports are:
- Assessed for clinical relevance
- Updated to reflect current practice
- Improved in format and accessibility
- Designed to provide timely, actionable insights
