Celebrating USANZ Members

USANZ at SIU 2025

The Société Internationale d'Urologie (SIU) Congress 2025 was held last week from 29 October to 1 November, in Edinburgh, Scotland.

The SIU and USANZ Joint Session was held on 29 October from 10-11.30am. The session was convened by Prof Henry Woo, with panelists Drs Ashani Couchman, Sandra Elmer, Joseph Ischia and Imogen Patterson. They covered a broad range of urological issues, including inflight urological emergencies, acute renal colic in the Emergency Department, robotic surgery in female and functional urology, and UTIs.

Other USANZ Members spoke in other sessions throughout SIU, including Drs Devang Desai, Ming Hei Fu, Peter Gilling, Bill Lynch, Manish Patel, Shomik Sengupta and Jennifer Xu. It's wonderful to see so many of our Members speaking on the international stage.

USANZ at KUA 2025

The Annual Meeting of the Korean Urological Association was held from 22-24 October in Seoul.

USANZ President Damien Bolton was in attendance. To celebrate 80 years of the KUA, Damien presented KUA President Seong II Seo with a plaque on behalf of USANZ.

The KUA supplied these photographs of Damien speaking at KUA and presenting the plaque to Seong II Seo.
