Testicular Cancer in the Media
USANZ continues to be active in the media during Testicular Cancer Awareness Month.
Weranja Ranasinghe was interviewed on the Tim Webster Breakfast Show on 10 April, discussing the importance of self checking for signs of testicular cancer. Listen online (Tim Webster Breakfast Show 10/04/26; time stamp recording 1:37:37).
The first segment on the FiveAA Afternoons with Stacey Lee radio show last Friday 10 April featured the story of Daniel Byrant, a testicular cancer survivor. Our Society was mentioned as part of the interview, along with tips on how to check your testicles. Listen online (time stamp recording 6:20).
Steve Ruthven Retirement Party
Dr Stephen (Steve) Ruthven is a longstanding USANZ Member who has held many Society roles including President from 2011-2013, as well as Honorary Treasurer and Honorary Secretary from 2013-2015. He currently practices in Gosford and plans to retire this year. To celebrate his upcoming retirement, USANZ Members are invited to his retirement party.
