Infection Prevention and Control Week 2024

The Australian Commission in Safety and Quality in Healthcare (ACSQHC) is promoting Infection Prevention and Control Week 2024 from 13-19 October with the theme 'Moving the needle on infection prevention'.

Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Week highlights the important role of IPC in protecting the community from infection and keeping people safe. This year’s theme aims to highlight the importance of preventing infections by stopping the spread before the infection occurs, and promoting initiatives that advance IPC for everyone.

The Commission is supporting the campaign with a range of educational resources available for both clinicians and the public, including an informative Quiz.
