Celebrating USANZ Members

USANZ Member Wins BJUI Global Prize

USANZ is thrilled to announce that USANZ Member Dr Arthur Yim, alongside Dr Matthew Alberto, has been awarded the BJUI Global Prize for 2025.

The prestigious prize recognises Arthur and Matt's recent publication in BJUI, titled “Near-infrared spectroscopy as a novel method of ex vivo bladder cancer tissue characterisation”.

The BJUI Global Prize honors exceptional research conducted by authors outside of the Americas and Europe, acknowledging significant contributions in terms of article quality and potential impact on practice. The award includes an educational grant.

The prize will be presented at this year’s USANZ Annual Scientific Meeting in Perth.

This is a well-deserved acknowledgement of Arthur and Matt's innovative research in bladder cancer. We extend our warmest congratulations and look forwarding to celebrating the achievement in Perth.
