Survey - Movember's Study of CPD on Gender Responsive Healthcare for Men
Movember is currently undertaking research that seeks to understand healthcare practitioner’s receptivity and preferences for continuing professional development (CPD) education on gender responsive healthcare for men. This forms part of the Australian Government's National Men's Health Strategy.
As part of this project, Movember has circulated a survey for healthcare practitioners.
The education focus is on approaches to optimally engage with men during healthcare encounters, and within this acknowledging and responding to barriers some men may experience to effective engagement due to adherence to certain masculine norms.
