Uromune for UTIs

In recent months there has been growing discussion in the community about Uromune (MV140) as an oral vaccine to treat recurrent UTIs.

The vaccine has gained particular traction on social media. With this increase in discussion, USANZ Members may receive patient enquiries about the treatment.

This provides further details about the vaccine, its effacacy and limitations, and the Australian approval processes. Chronic UTI Australia also provides a downloadable PDF which outlines the steps for obtaining Uromune with TGA approval.
