Discontinuation of XATRAL

Discontinuation of XATRAL SR alfuzosin 10mg (as hydrochloride) tablet blister pack

USANZ Members are advised that Sanofi intends to discontinue the supply of  XATRAL SR alfuzosin 10mg (as hydrochloride) tablet (AUST R Number: 81900). It is estiminated the product will be out of stock by June 2026.

Please consider the implications for any patients currently treated with XATRAL SR tablets and the need to transition them to alternative treatment.
