Have Your Say: Admitted Care Classifications and Coding Standards

The Independent Health and Aged Care Pricing Authority (IHACPA) is inviting feedback on ICD-10-AM/ACHI/ACS Fourteenth Edition, AR-DRG Version 13.0 and priorities for future classification development. These classifications support nationally consistent reporting of admitted patient care and inform hospital funding, planning and health data quality.

Clinicians, hospitals, clinical coders and other stakeholders are encouraged to contribute. Submissions close at 5pm AEDT on Friday 13 November 2026 and can be made online or emailed to submissions.ihacpa@ihacpa.gov.au.
