Survey: Lymphadenectomy - Urologists' Practice Patterns

The Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Surgical Outcomes Research Centre (SOuRCe) is currently conducting a survey to investigate the prevailing practice of USANZ uro-oncologists regarding the indications for and extent of pelvic lymph node dissection for prostate cancer. This builds upon international findings and a previous American study on this subject.

As part of this study, the research team invites USANZ members to complete a brief survey.

The results will provide insight into the practice patterns of USANZ members regarding PLND and potentially highlight the lack of uniformity in determining when and how a PLND should be performed.

The survey consists of 14 multiple-choice questions and takes less than two minutes to complete. Participants will be asked about their fellowship, clinical practice, and approach to lymphadenectomy patient treatment. After completion of the survey, participants will automatically be included in a PubMed listed collaborative authorship.

To participate, access the survey.

The project and questionnaire has been approved by the Research Ethics and Governance Office at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
