Celebrating USANZ Members

USANZ in Bali

USANZ was busy at the 21st Urological Association of Asia (UAA) Congress, which was held in Bali last week. The Congress was held in conjunction with the Indonesian Urological Association ASM and the Pan-Pacific Continence Society (PPCS) Annual Meeting.

Dozens of USANZ members attended and spoke at the Congress. The Society also had a stall in the Trade Hall. The stall, expertly staffed by Chief Operating Officer, Nick Danes, promoted the 2025 USANZ ASM. It's wonderful to see USANZ's strong presence in Asia.

USANZ President, Helen O'Connell, delivered the UAA State of the Arts Lecture for Australia and New Zealand, speaking on "Female Urethral Anatomy: You Think You Know It?".

  

In addition, Bill Lynch was the USANZ representative in an PPCS interactive session on Stress Urinary Incontinence.

Vincent Tse, Honorary PPCS Membership

At the PPCS Meeting, USANZ Member Vincent Tse was awarded an Honorary Membership for exemplary services to functional and female urology. Congratulations Vincent!

Vincent also delivered the USANZ Lecture at the PPCS Meeting. His paper was titled "Robotic Female Pelvic Floor and Lower Tract Reconstructive Surgery: Current Status and Surgical Pearls." Vincent is pictured below with PPCS co-convenors, Dr Fina Widia and Prof Harrina Erlianti.

  

 

USANZ Speaker at Best of GU Dinner

The USANZ Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Professor Manish Patel has been selected as the USANZ speaker at the ANZUP Best of GU Oncology Evening Symposium. The event will be held in Sydney on 20 November. Manish will speak about "Improving outcomes from bladder cancer: an Australian perspective."
