Celebrating USANZ Members

Canadian Urological Association Annual Meeting 2024

It's a busy time for Urology around the world and USANZ has been well-represented at leading international events!

At the recent CUA Annual Meeting in Victoria, Canada, USANZ President, Prof Helen O'Connell, was one of the invited guests. Helen presented the Women in Urology Lecture, speaking on "Female Leadership & Pioneering."

Also in attendance from USANZ were Drs Darius Ashrafi and Sheliyan Raveenthiran, as part of an international exchange program sponsored by Ipsen. Darius and Sheliyan, both SET5 Trainees, joined the Senior Urology Residents Annual Scientific Retreat prior to attending the CUA Meeting.

The Society congratulates Helen, Darius and Sheliyan for their participation on the global stage, and looks forward to hearing about their experiences.

 

Ho Chi Minh City Urology and Nephrology Association Meeting 

Across the globe, USANZ was also represented at the Ho Chi Minh City Urology and Nephrology Association Annual Meeting in Vietnam.

A/Prof Vincent Tse, Past Chair of the USANZ Female & Functional Urology Section, spoke in the English session on Collaboration, Innovation and Growth.

It's wonderful to see our Society strongly represented at these international events.
