Consultation on New Zealand Health and Disability Commissioner Act

The New Zealand Health and Disability Commissioner (HDC) is currently undertaking a public review of the Code of Health and Disability Service Consumers’ Rights (the Code) and the Health and Disability Commissioner Act (the Act).

HDC are therefore seeking feedback on consultation documents.

A diversity of perspectives helps to ensure any changes are going to work for everyone. The more people are calling for change, the greater the chance that changes will be made.

A submission can be as simple as a few words or a more in-depth response.

All consultation documents and submission instructions are available via the HDC website.

Submissions close Wednesday 31 July 2024.
