ICS 2025 - Advice for Abstract Submission and Observership Applications Now Open
The International Continence Society has recently shared two important updates for anyone interested in incontinence and pelvic floor disorders. Ahead of the abstract submission deadline on 3 April, the ICS Board of Trustees has shared tips to maximise your chance of having an abstract accepted. In addition, applications for the 2025 ICS observership program have now opened.
Submitting Your Abstract for ICS-EUS 2025
Abstract submissions for ICS-EUS 2025 close on 3 April 2025. Submit your abstract via the ICS website.
The ICS Board of Trustees has shared a video on how to maximise your chance of being accepted.
Key tips include:

- Follow submission guidelines
- Ensure anonymity
- Showcase originality
- Demonstrate scientific merit
- Explain your methods
- Use current ICS teminology

Observerships - Applications Now Open
ICS have called for applications for up to 5 observership awards for their 2025 program.
The program is designed for short term placements, ranging from two weeks to two months, with an award of up to $5,000 USD per placement. The aim of the program is to encourage career development, networking, evidence-based practice and research collaboration.
Observerships are open to early career professionals, allied health professionals, or those from countries with low and lower middle income economies who wish to further their clinical, research or practice experience in bladder or bowel care.
Applicants are also required to be valid ICS members (for at least one year).
Applications close 1 May 2025.
